How much is your company's internal data worth to an AI lab?
English · Français · Deutsch · Nederlands
There is no public price list for company data. Each file is priced by the buyer, on its own merits. What can be said: which criteria raise or lower the price, and what one buyer publishes about its own partnerships.
What one buyer publishes
micro1 lists three compensation ranges for its Enterprise Data Partnership, on its data partnerships page (read on 8 October 2026):
| Range | What micro1 says it applies to |
|---|---|
| $100k+ | qualified Enterprise Data Partnerships |
| $500k+ | large-scale operational datasets, or ongoing participation across multiple teams and business functions |
| $1M+ | highly unique, proprietary operational data with significant value for frontier AI development |
These are micro1's figures, not ours, and not a promise: they apply to companies of 30 employees or more that micro1 accepts. We publish no amount of our own, and we will not until a deal has been signed.
What raises the price
- Rarity: know-how that is poorly represented on the public web (skilled trades, technical offices, logistics, back-office operations) is worth more than content that is abundant online.
- Structure: pairs sell better than isolated documents (a request and its reply, a quote and its final invoice, a problem and its resolution).
- Depth: several years of history show how a company decides, not only what it produces.
- Breadth: several teams or functions, and ongoing delivery rather than a one-off dump.
- Clean rights: a file where the company clearly has the right to license what it licenses closes faster.
What lowers it, or kills the deal
- personal data that cannot be reliably anonymized;
- documents covered by client NDAs or professional secrecy;
- content that is already public, which AI systems can already read;
- small volumes, or a single year of records.
Getting a real figure
Only a buyer's offer, made on your actual data, gives a price. Describe your company in two minutes: we tell you whether a buyer is likely to be interested, and we give you its name before passing on anything.

Frequently asked questions
How much is my company's internal data worth to an AI lab?
There is no public price list: each buyer prices each file. micro1 publishes ranges of $100k+, $500k+ and $1M+ for its enterprise data partnerships, depending on the scale and uniqueness of the data. Rarity, structure, depth of history and clean rights raise the price.
What kind of company data do AI labs pay for?
Operational data: SOPs, knowledge bases, internal documentation, CRM data, project histories, quality-control processes, and customer conversations, anonymized.
